About

Greg Sury is a native Houstonian who began playing guitar and drums at the age of 9. He was a deejay and music director for the Midnight Rodeo/Wild West nightclub chain for many years, structuring and integrating computer-aided playlists with their country music format. He has been playing music professionally for 40+ years. Instruments played include acoustic, lead, and bass guitar, fiddle, mandolin, trumpet, drums, and sound engineering. He has worked with many Houston area bands, including Jimmy Brosch, Heart of Texas, JC Eason, Tim Nichols, Kevin Eagan, Tommy Daniels, Bill Hart, Horizon, Driftwood, Wes Hardin, Randy Meadows, Patrick Murphy, and Alvin Opry. He is also a songwriter, producer, and studio owner.
